Happy Monday! I realized it has been a while since I’ve done a thrift store haul, which is mostly because I’ve only walked away with one or two things in the past few months when I’ve gone. However, this past weekend was quite the exception! I scored some awesome items and figured I’d do a little bargain boasting on the blog ;) Check it out:
Vintage food scale - $7.50 @ local church rummage sale. Although this was a little on the spendier side, I am a sucker for unique vintage items and this makes for an awesome kitchen decor piece I simply couldn’t pass up!
Perfectly worn-in real leather boots – $1.50 @ local church rummage sale. These boots were no doubt a steal of a deal!
Dainty flower necklace and earring set – $2.50 @ local church rummage sale. Doesn’t this set just have “perfect for spring” written all over it?!
Lauren Conrad ‘coastal bohemia’ dress - $8 (still had orig. $60 Kohl’s tag attached) @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center. (features a cute cut-out and bowtie in the back)! This dress will serve as lovely date night or wedding guest attire for the summer!
H&M faux leather jacket – $8 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center. A wardrobe essential for those colder spring and summer nights!
Woven baskets – $5.99 for the set @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center. When I spotted these I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do with them, but I knew one thing – I couldn’t say no to buying them! (Baskets of this sort are sold at Pottery Barn and West Elm for upwards of $70)! Can you say SWEET SAVINGS?! I sure can! :)
Target decorative vase – $1.99 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center. Hey, you can never have enough cute shelf decor! :)
Beaded necklace - $1.69 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center. The perfect type of necklace to dress up a plain outfit and add a little pizazz!
Necklace – $5.99 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center. This particular piece is more than what I would usually spend on a jewelry item from the thrift store, but I couldn’t say no to that gorgeous turquoise and gold coral combo – a truly unique piece!
Mossimo wedge booties - $4.99 @ Goodwill in Blaine. Brand new taupe-colored wedges for five bucks, need I say more?
Other items purchased but not pictured:
-
Limited sweater (packed away until fall) – $3.49 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center
-
Gap jeans – $2.99 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center
-
Sheer navy-colored scarf – $2.99 @ Arc’s Value Village Thrift Store in Brooklyn Center
-
New bread baking tin – $1 @ local church rummage sale
-
Mossimo sunglasses – $4.99 @ Goodwill in Blaine
Have you scored any awesome items from the thrift store recently? Keep in mind that this is the prime time of the year to shop your local thrift stores while everyone is spring cleaning and clearing out their closets! :)
