I realize it’s been a while since I’ve posted a thrift haul but there’s good reason for that — garage sale season! Thrift stores often become a thing of the past for me every year from May-Sept as garage sales seem to surface at every corner weekend after weekend. Although thrift stores have great prices, the ones at garage sales are almost always twice as good. (So good, in fact, I am seriously considering investing in one of those bumper stickers that say, “Warning! I brake for yard sales!”)
Here are a few of my favorites thrifty finds from the past few weeks as the last garage sales have rolled out before the cold Minnesota air sets in for good.
vintage Nicole oxfords – $1. Ironically very similar to the ones I recently posted about here, so I think it’s obvious that these were clearly meant to be in my closet! ;)
vintage suitcase – $1.50. Any guesses on what I am going to do with this gem? Find out tomorrow! (Here‘s a hint!)
